Ladyfest Kelowna is a non-profit, primarily women-
organized music and arts festival that is open to everyone.

Ladyfest first began in Olympia, Washington in 2000. A
group of women got together to create a festival to
commemorate the Riot Grrl movement of the 90’s. It was
a week long festival bringing together music, art,
performance, and workshops, and they called it Ladyfest.
Since then groups of women have been starting their own
Ladyfest’s all over the world.
